I signed up to Skillshare Because of free trial.
The afternoon BEFORE my trial was supposed to end I received an email from them thanking me to Premium.
Obviously, I was perplexed. It's normal for companies to offer free trials in hopes that you enjoy the item enough to actually cover it. What is not normal is for your enterprise to LIE to you and bill you daily before the free trial will end, in effect frees you and then quitting your money. I was furious.
I looked on the internet and after 30 minutes of digging, I found a phone number for your company (Red flag, that which valid company doesn't have an easily accessible customer support number?) . I called this number and it moved straight to voicemail. The voice on the voicemail seemed like a stoned college kid, complete with "ums" and "likes"(Red flag Number 2). At this point I was freaking out because all these experiences were leading me to think this actually was a scam. The only option left to me was to compose them an email via their site. This was over 3 months past, and I have yet to acquire a response.
I am appalled at how that they handle business (by tricking their customers, then ignoring their issues). They stole my money without warning and are now unreachable.
I moved back on their website as well as their advertisement for Premium is really a lie. It clearly says that your Premium accounts is cancelable at any time. What they actually mean is it is possible to cancel it so it will not renew at the next billing cycle (which will be an entire year!!) . They Skillshare Case Study — Sarah Goliger are crooks. If their articles were really good, I'd have happily continued using their services, but most of their videos are items I can locate on YouTube or alternative places at no cost. The only thing I an do now is spare other people the hassle.
DO NOT sign up for your free trial. Should you do a little more research you will discover a plethora of different reviews like mine.
Go into Lynda.com or YouTube. Please, don't make the identical mistake that I did, and stay away!!
I composed Skillshare a final time, and it seems like from the past 4 months they have upped their client support match. I got a same-day response apologizing to my prior experience and having an offer to refund me all of my money. This gesture has been more than I anticipated, and I am thankful to know that individuals do work in this company, and it seems they are listening to the negative reviews and attempting to make a better firm. I still have a sour taste in my mouth, but I really feel like after they ended up giving me my money I should update my review and provide them more than one star.
